What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school, Active Texas Bar license, 3+ years of experience in employment law (litigation and/or advisory), Experience with employment-related litigation or administrative claims, Experience drafting motions and legal briefs, Experience with client counseling on employment matters

## Description The Associate Attorney – Employment Law is responsible for controlled execution of employment-related legal matters within established regulatory, procedural, and financial frameworks. This role carries direct exposure to deadline compliance, regulatory risk, billed production, and matter progression, and operates within defined governance standards to ensure consistent, defensible legal outcomes and realized revenue generation. ## Core Accountabilities 1. Employment Law Execution Control Accountable for the accurate and timely execution of assigned employment law work within regulatory and legal standards. This includes accountability for: Drafting employment agreements, policies, and compliance documentation Handling claims involving discrimination, wage/hour, wrongful termination, and related matters Conducting legal research aligned with employment law requirements Preparing responses to agency complaints (EEOC, TWC, DOL) Ensuring all filings meet agency and court requirements Maintaining accuracy and completeness of legal documents Executing assigned work without procedural or regulatory deviation 2. Deadline & Risk Management Accountable for maintaining strict control over deadlines and regulatory requirements to prevent legal and financial exposure. This includes accountability for: Maintaining calendar accuracy for all matter deadlines Tracking agency response deadlines and court dates Identifying and escalating potential risks Ensuring compliance with employment laws and procedural rules Verifying completion of all required filings Maintaining audit-ready timelines 3. Billed Production Control Accountable for consistent generation and conversion of work into billed output aligned with firm production expectations.
