Associate Airplane Performance Engineer (Flight Operations) **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Commercial Airplanes** **(BCA)** is seeking an **Associate Airplane Performance Engineer** to join our Flight Operations Engineering – Customer Support team in**Seal Beach, California.** The successful candidate will develop and test airplane performance databases for Boeing commercial models. As a member of the Flight Operations Engineering – Customer Support team, you will manage complex assignments in a multifaceted environment and help deliver world-class service to airline customers and the flying public. The team’s primary focus is creating databases that capture aerodynamics and airplane performance characteristics used for flight planning. We also develop automation tools that replace manual calculations and simplify complex route-planning tasks, enabling customers to plan and dispatch flights more efficiently. **Position Responsibilities:** * Analyzes aerodynamics data and airplane characteristics across Boeing commercial airplane models. Perform takeoff, landing, and enroute performance analysis using Boeing Standard Computerized Aircraft Performance (SCAP) and Enroute software * Transforms and organize performance data for compatibility with various software applications and database formats * Develops, maintains, and supports Boeing operational performance databases for all phases of flight * Translates customer requests and engineering data into clear, testable database requirements * Designs and executes comprehensive test plans to verify and validate database requirements and design specifications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and conformity with engineering standards * Provides Flight Operations service engineering support to airline customers, addressing inquiries related to performance database, operational dispatch, and flight-planning data * Champions continuous improvement of technologies, tools, and processes to increase technical readiness,
