TailorCare is a remote-first company with our corporate office located in Nashville. About the Role We are seeking an Associate Actuary to join our Actuarial team. You will have a key role in TailorCare's expansion and in bringing our comprehensive MSK services to more patients through risk-based partnerships with health plans and other risk-bearing entities. Your responsibilities will include refining our pricing models to ensure they align with industry best practices, establishing risk mitigation strategies to help evaluate our risk-based contracts with clients, and working closely with our growth team. Primary Responsibilities Develop and troubleshoot complex scripts and reports using SQL, Python, and Excel to support actuarial and financial analyses Produce monthly VBC financial reporting, including IBNR estimates, for finance Develop and maintain models supporting pricing, population health, and financial analysis across the enterprise Interpret and analyze data from multiple sources — claims, provider, member, and encounters — to identify and assess the business impact of trends Create pricing models and lead pricing on all new TailorCare deals, including building and refining deal-level models Review contracts on new and existing deals from an actuaria
