Must Have
Direct, hands-on experience 8+ years in implementing or supporting the Dayforce Payroll module is essential., A deep understanding of payroll processes, including year-end activities and reporting, is required., In-depth knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance is a must., A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is typically required.
Nice to Have
A Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is highly beneficial.
What You'll Do.
Lead discovery sessions to understand a business team's specific payroll requirements
and business processes.
Translate these needs into functional specifications for the Dayforce system.
Configure all payroll-related elements within Dayforce
including pay policies
and general ledger accounts.
Ensure the system is set up to accurately calculate wages
Conduct rigorous testing
including parallel payroll runs and user acceptance testing (UAT)
to ensure the system is accurate and compliant before and after implementation.
Train business team payroll administrators and end-users on how to use the Dayforce payroll module.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for any payroll-related system issues.
Stay current with federal
and local payroll tax regulations and labor laws to ensure the business team's payroll processes and system configurations remain compliant.
Stay up to date with Dayforce updates and enhancements
assess their impact on existing processes
and recommend and implement system improvements.
Proactively review release notes and communicate key changes to stakeholders
identifying opportunities to leverage new features to enhance business efficiency and functionality.
Lead the planning and execution of system regression testing for major releases to ensure the stability and integrity of existing configurations.
