What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina, one year of experience in the area of specialization
Nice to Have
Knowledge of current nursing practice, assessment, and care planning, Experience applying rules, statutes, and/or standards to ensure compliance in the area of work, including participating in or conducting state or federal surveys, compliance audits, or accreditation surveys, written and oral communication skills and the ability to document clearly and concisely in a technical report, Must possess and maintain an active and unrestricted driver’s license and have the ability to drive for statewide travel as assigned
What You'll Do.
Conduct on-site inspections of licensed adult care homes
Analyze survey findings and determine compliance
Document findings in a legally defensible manner
Provide technical assistance to facilities
Provide regulatory oversight to county staff
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work as a member of a professional health care team; Providing regulatory oversight and technical assistance to county Department of Social Services (DSS) staff
Communication Scope
significant oral and written communication with facilities, staff and public; ability to document clearly and concisely in a technical report
