Job Purpose The Assistant Valves Technician supports the Valves Technician in the execution of the full valve rehabilitation lifecycle within the workshop. The role assists in receipt, inspection, disassembly, cleaning, repair, testing, and documentation of valves while maintaining traceability and adherence to quality standards. The Assistant contributes to efficient workflow by supporting technical activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities 1. Workshop Intake & Valve Receipt Assist in receiving valves, tagging and logging each item against job cards or work orders. Support initial visual inspection and documentation of valve condition. 2. Valve Rehabilitation & Repair Support Assist in disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of valves including gate, globe, ball, butterfly, and check valves.
