Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).** **Position Summary:** Under the supervision of the immediate supervisor, the assistant supervisor will participate in the management of group sport classes and private lessons which includes but is not limited to monitoring daily activities and directly supervising 10-20 AMUSE Sports Instructors. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Conduct staff orientation and training clinics * Review and suggest edits for group class format / documents * Assist with group class/private lesson schedule creation * Ensure that maintenance and organization of equipment is kept in order * Schedule and supervise AMUSE Sports Instructors (including approval of time entries in Workday) * Attend staff meetings when required * Monitor daily/nightly activities * Complete and provide season-end reports to supervisor **Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities** * Referee certification and/or sport experience required * Experience supervising staff * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with participants * Bilingual in both French and English (written and verbal) **_Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located._** **_Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
