### **Job Description** ## Overview A Senior Structural Designer supports engineers by creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for concrete and steel structures, generating material take-offs, and ensuring designs meet specifications, typically requiring 8+ years of experience and strong skills in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or SmartPlant 3D. ## Your role * Produce 3D models using Revit, Advanced Steel, or SmartPlant 3D and generate 2D drawings from the 3D model * Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation * Develop 2D drawings for structural and foundation plans, sections, and elevations based on engineer design sketches * Develop detailed drawings as per engineering design requirements * Prepare material take-offs from 3D models and/or drawings * Review sketches, drawings, specifications, and engineering data from engineers to ensure alignment with design concepts * Perform other related duties as required ## About you * College certification or a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred but not required) * 3-5 years of experience in structural design and drafting * Experience in 2D and 3D design of concrete foundations, concrete structures, and steel structures * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or SmartPlant 3D * Excellent communication skills in French and ability to handle confidential information * Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams ## Rewards & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
