The Brief

What You'll Achieve.

servicing customers; providing excellent customer service; ensuring the retail sales counter is adequately staffed; ensuring team members are staying current on their individual training; selection of qualified team members; customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed; special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure; retail customer returns and exchanges are processed in an efficient and friendly manner; refunds are issued accurately using the correct payment methods; returned merchandise is processed or staged in the returns area correctly; merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store; Zipline messages are communicated; Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed as assigned; team members are complying with company policies; performing day end procedures; verifying/securing money/deposits according to company policy; preparing bank deposits as needed; ensuring all night security lights are on; locking doors and securing building; arming/disarming security alarms; checking/securing/locking delivery vehicle(s) parked in a secure designated area; maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles

Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification

Nice to Have

Certified Parts Professional, ASE Certification, Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

What You'll Do.

Support the Store Manager in areas of sales

store appearance and store operations.

Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts.

Lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.

Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.

Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed.

Assist the store manager in setting team member goals

providing feedback on goal achievement

coaching/mentoring team members

and making sure team members are staying current on their individual training.

Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks

scheduling and participating in interviews

evaluating candidates

and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members.

Make sure telephone is answered according to company policy.

Ensure all buy online/ship to store

hub and store to store transfers

and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed.

Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure.

Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed in an efficient and friendly manner

refunds are issued accurately using the correct payment methods

and returned merchandise is processed or staged in the returns area correctly.

Ensure all merchandise

including core charges and warranties

are invoiced before product leaves the store.

Ensure that Zipline messages are communicated

and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed as assigned.

Make sure all team members are complying with company policies adhering to the posted work schedule

changes/deviations are being approved by a member of management

and team members are clocking in/out accordingly.

Perform all store opening/closing duties

including performing day end procedures

verifying/securing money/deposits according to company policy

preparing bank deposits as needed

ensuring all night security lights are on

locking doors and securing building

arming/disarming security alarms

and checking/securing/locking delivery vehicle(s) parked in a secure designated area.

Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building

exterior signage/lighting

in-store service/test equipment

and delivery vehicles.

All other duties as assigned.
