### **Job Description** ## Overview This senior engineering role is responsible for supervising and managing electrical infrastructure projects, particularly in transmission and distribution systems. The Assistant Resident Engineer ensures quality execution, regulatory compliance, and coordination across disciplines, with a strong focus on safety, risk management, and technical excellence. The position demands extensive experience in high-voltage systems, commissioning, and stakeholder engagement, especially within TRANSCO and ADNOC project environments. ## Your role ## * Supervise the works in such a way that the work is performed in proper sequence and required quality as per Contract Document. * Perform and approve all the site activities, carry out the day-to-day site inspection, attend all the pre-commissioning & commissioning tests, alignments, etc. and issue site memos wherever required. * PRE for interdisciplinary coordination at site. * Monitor and report on the progress of work. * Supervise, guide & cooperate with the inspectors to supervise the works in such a way that the work is performed in proper sequence and required quality as per Contract Document. * Ensure that the documentation for the completion of work activities listed in the Quality Control Plan/Inspection Test Plan is complete and all supporting documents to substantiate the completed works are attached with the Quality Control Records and the data filled in the Quality Control Records are correct. * Supervise/follow up the tests on site. * Co-operate with the Quantity Surveyor for review the Contractor monthly invoices. * Co-operate with the QA/QC Engineer to ensure that the work is carried out to the agreed QC level and recorded in the appropriate QC forms/documents. * Ensure that practicable measures are taken through Contractor HSE team to protect and promote the Health, Safety and Environment. * For any commissioning activities, direct contact to be maintained to TRANSCOPE&C Department
