What You'll Do.
Support relationship building and onboarding of project landowners
Assist in site diligence
Support Project Manager in overseeing EPC contractors
Assist in reviewing and managing EPC contractors
Help monitor construction progress and milestone achievement
Coordinate engineering review of EPC contractor designs
Coordinate internal reviews of technical submittals
Track project budgets
Maintain organized documentation in internal project management systems
Attend project meetings with EPCs
and internal stakeholders
Coordinate review of project specific design and documentation with utilities
Help coordinate project turnover process
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Support relationship building and onboarding of project landowners; Assist in site diligence in conjunction with internal teams and consultants; Support the Project Manager in overseeing EPC contractors and ensuring alignment with goals, contract terms, and project timelines; Coordinate internal reviews of technical submittals, RFIs, and change orders with engineering, legal, and finance teams; Attend project meetings with EPCs, consultants, and internal stakeholders, documenting action items and coordinating follow-through with Project Managers; Coordinate review of project specific design and documentation with utilities, interconnection teams, and permitting authorities to maintain project momentum and regulatory compliance; Help coordinate project turnover process, ensuring a smooth handoff to the Asset Management team

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to focus on our Community Solar portfolio. This person is organized and detail-oriented, loves to make chaotic situations run smoothly, understands the value of strong processes and will enthusiastically familiarize oneself with our software systems to assist in creating and then managing a seamless, efficient, and highly organized project onboarding process. This person is passionate about the type of work Generate is doing, looking to apply their experience to help scale a growing business and drive critical internal process efficiencies and initiatives. This person can juggle – and juggle well – managing a variety of stakeholders and projects simultaneously while providing the highest standards of performance. What you will be doing at Generate Capital as an Assistant Project Manager: - Support relationship building and onboarding of project landowners. - Assist in site diligence in conjunction with internal teams and consultants including critical issues screening, preliminary design and energy model, landowner and utility issues. - Support the Project Manager in overseeing EPC contractors and ensuring alignment with goals, contract terms, and project timelines - Assist in reviewing and managing EPC contractors, including tracking key deliverables, notices, change orders, and payment milestones - Help monitor construction progress and milestone achievement, ensure timely updates are provided to stakeholders - Coordinate engineering review of EPC contractor site-specific designs, energy models, and permitting documents for accuracy and compliance - Coordinate internal reviews of technical submittals, RFIs, and change orders with engineering, legal, and finance teams - Track project budgets, invoice approvals, and cost forecasts, ensuring adherence to financial controls and reporting requirements - Maintain organized documentation in internal project management systems, ensuring traceability and compliance with audit
