What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2–5 years of experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical construction in an APM, Project Engineer, or comparable role, Commercial HVAC experience required, Background with a mechanical contractor or HVAC subcontractor required, Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and construction specifications, Genuine interest in developing into a Project Manager role over time, Basic working knowledge of scheduling and cost tracking tools, Comfortable operating in a hands-on, field-oriented contractor environment, communication and organizational skills
What You'll Do.
Support execution of commercial HVAC and mechanical projects
Coordinate with field crews
Track project schedules
Read and interpret mechanical drawings
Interpret construction documents
Assist with preparation and management of RFIs
Assist with management of submittals
Assist with management of change orders
Assist with project documentation
Coordinate with vendors
Support procurement of materials
Support procurement of equipment
Communicate professionally with clients
Communicate with inspectors
Communicate with internal stakeholders
Participate in jobsite visits
Support field operations
Monitor construction progress
