What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma/GED required, At least 2 years’ experience working on the Production Floor OR a combination of education, experience and/or training, Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Applied Science, or an Engineering discipline preferred, At least 1 year of Leadership experience is strongly preferred, Knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry is a plus, Experience with financial and analytical ability is a plus

Assist Supervisor in establishing production priorities
Monitor materials and carts
Ensure taping/labeling is completed
Escalate and drive issues to closure
Physically watch operator perform job
Compare observation to visual aid
Investigate discrepancies
Hold teams accountable to documented process
Escalate any/all issues unsure how to handle
Familiarize with and adhere to company policies
Exercise leadership with tact
Foster inclusive and supportive work environment
Promote open and honest communication
Ensure training sign off sheets turned in within 24 hours
Assist in coordination of production activities
Review and discuss production reports
Determine causes of nonconformity

The Assistant Production Supervisor will oversee all production processes and assists the Supervisor in establishing production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. **What can you expect to do?** * Monitor materials and carts in unmarked locations. If any item is unidentified on the shop floor, ensure taping/labeling is completed in a timely manner. If you are unsure how to address a unique scenario your expected to escalate and drive the issue to closure. * Physically watch an operator perform their job function. Compare what you see to the visual aid.
