What You'll Do.

Assist customers by escorting them to products
Secure products that are out of reach
Load or unload heavy items
Make note of customer suggestions
Enhance the shopping experience
Answer the telephone promptly
helpful service to customers
Ensure department standards are met
Coordinate food operation with salad bar/juice bar
Review product status and appearance for freshness
Rotate or replenish product
Monitor refrigeration temperatures
Set and reset sales areas
Promote products to customers
Stay current in produce related issues
Be aware of department pricing philosophy
Handle customer and vendor issues
Satisfy customer and vendor issues
Assist with inventory
Inform customers of produce uses
Verify accuracy of delivery
Understand and practice proper sanitation
Ensure work area is clean and neat
Maintain adherence to guidelines
Adhere to company policies
Adhere to store guidelines
Report to work when scheduled
Report to work on time
Assume management duties in absence of Department Manager
Assist with fruit and holiday basket program
Evaluate product amount
Re-stack cooler at days end
Transport product to the aisle
Assist in other areas of store
