Eligibility Requirements

Must have the right to work in Ireland / EU full time, Must be available to work 5 out of 7 night shifts a week, Days off will vary, To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests

What You'll Do.

ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets

deliver the highest standards of luxury and quality consistently to our guests

ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained

report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate departments

ensure that all new initiatives are implemented in the agreed time frame

ensure that night porter/cleaners have successfully completed their daily tasks

ensure that the team members are trained in any new tasks

ensure there is always management presence in all departments

ensure a consistently high level of security is well maintained throughout the Hotel

ensure guest feedback is acted upon in a timely manner

ensure departmental sales are achieved in line with the hotel budget

accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests

maintain flexibility within teams

provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel

deputise for the Night Manager in their absence and take responsibility of the operation of the hotel during night

comply with the hotels cash handling procedures

complete Full Night Audit efficiently

reconcile the cash on daily basis for the whole departments

conduct daily briefings for the morning shift

direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety

occasionally assist guests with their luggage

be a point of contact for our guests

valet park guests’ cars

print and distribute reports to all departments

be aware and able to enforce all fire-life-safety procedures

remain current in all updates with regards to new procedures and training

report any suspicious persons

activities and/or hazardous conditions to the Security department and the Front Office Manager

ensure to always maintain Hotel property and guest safety

carry out tasks as acting Night Manager in absence of Night Manager

Conduct thorough evaluations of existing SOPs to identify areas of improvement

and compliance with regulations

Update and revise SOPs based on feedback

and changes in operational procedures or regulatory requirements

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

cross-functional coordination; ensure that the team members are trained in any new tasks; ensure there is always management presence in all departments; provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel; deputise for the Night Manager in their absence; ensure that all team members are trained accordingly; conduct daily briefings for the morning shift; prepare, print and distribute reports to all departments; report any suspicious persons, activities and/or hazardous conditions to the Security department and the Front Office Manager
