What You'll Achieve.
Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and available for sale; Maintain presentation standards; Deliver a positive member experience; Oversee the nightly execution and performance of merchandise department tasks; Ensure Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) standards are in place; Ensure merchandise is available for sale in proper quantities; Ensure daily execution of GOLD Member Standards are met; Contribute to a premium shopping experience; Support improvement in key performance areas; Help the club meet or exceed targets; Help the club stay within labor and supply goals; Help drive club results; Contribute to overall department performance; Drive performance through effective communication; Ensure efficient and accurate overnight operations; Ensure the club is fully prepared for morning operations; Ensure all products are properly merchandised with correct signage; Ensure products are available in the right quantities; Ensure high standards across all areas of the sales floor; Drive incremental sales; Ensure team members follow safety and sanitation protocols; Lead and validate steel and pallet safety checks; Enforce sanitation procedures; Immediately address safety issues; Oversee daily Hot List completion; Verify accurate pallet tag placement; Meet internal and external audit expectations; Enhance efficiency; Ensure overnight processes align with daytime operations; Ensure overnight processes align with member expectations; Comply with club policies and procedures; Uphold and enforce all company policies; Uphold and enforce operational guidelines; Uphold and enforce safety requirements; Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
Industry & Context.
Frequent movement on hard surfaces, Occasional bending, pulling, and reaching, Regular lifting of up to 30 lbs, Occasional heavier lifting with assistance, Requires using a pallet jack, Exposure to temperature extremes, Exposure to loud noises, Potential exposure to cleaning agents, Yearly certification for a forklift license
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email), Forklift operator required, At least 18 years of age, Open shift availability required, Must maintain all training and required certifications
Nice to Have
High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, grocery and/or management experience is preferred, Prior forklift operating and merchandising experience preferred but not required
