Must Have

Proficiency working within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Confidence within Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint, Organization, time management, communication, and written skills

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work or internship experience, Experience working in the advertising industry preferred, Proficient in math

What You'll Do.

Assist in the negotiation of pricing with media vendors across multiple media types

Manage communication with vendors to ensure timely receipt of schedules and plans

Collaborate with MX team to ensure vendor plans meet all pricing and guideline requirements and manage follow ups with vendors as needed

Assist in management of day-to-day communication with internal teams as well as external vendors

Schedule inputs and QA in SBMS and Core

Assist with tagging and trafficking of digital buys

Request prelogs form networks in advance of upcoming week to ensure schedules will run as planned and alert internal team to any variances

Assist in evaluation and acceptance of makegoods

ADU’s and plan changes

Check that invoices are input correctly by the billing department

Request any missing invoices from vendors

Resolve billing discrepancies

Work with your manager and Ops to make sure all billing adjustments are complete before client billing is approved

Collect and enter TV post-log data into Core/SBMS on a weekly basis for reporting

QA reporting to make sure post log airings match schedules purchased

Create and maintain budget trackers to ensure pacing/delivery

Advance knowledge and learn about the media industry

Further abilities with Microsoft Office Suite and other proprietary Horizon tools

Participate in Horizon’s Media 101 training program and other syndicated and proprietary training sessions (i. e. Excel Basics

Learn about the various departments at HMI and how each work together

Attend and participate in vendor and internal meetings

Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies that affect the buying discipline
