Bachelor's degree, 2 years coaching experience, Graduate assistant program experience, Distinguished collegiate athletic career, Knowledge of intercollegiate tennis program, Effectively coach high level athletes, Provide effective leadership, Work within diverse environment, Interact collegially, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Proficiency in MS Word, Proficiency in Excel, Establish and maintain relationships, Work effectively with constituents, Work a non-traditional schedule, Valid driver's license, Obtain driver's license
Nice to Have
Master's degree, Degree in Athletic Administration, Advanced Level Coaching, Experience coaching Division III, Experience coaching NESCAC conference, Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification, Experience with contest management, Experience with frontrush recruiting software, Knowledge of NESCAC recruiting rules, Knowledge of NCAA Division III recruiting rules
What You'll Do.
Plan training sessions
Provide input on player evaluation
Provide input on recruiting
Provide input on team operations
Develop strategic plan
Implement strategic plan
Assist with instruction
Assist with planning practices
Assist with organizing practices
Assist with execution of practices
Assist with planning competition
Assist with organizing competition
Assist with execution of competition
Provide video analysis
Evaluate athlete performance
Evaluate athlete progress
Oversee mental preparation
Oversee physical preparation
Assist in development of conditioning programs
Assist with team scouts
Assist with evaluation
Provide game strategy recommendations
Assist physical education faculty
Assist with classroom interaction
Assist with out of class project work
Oversee team recruiting efforts
Identify prospective student-athletes
Evaluate prospective student-athletes
Attend recruiting events
Manage team Front Rush recruiting database
Coordinate recruiting visits
Provide academic support
Monitor academic progress
Participate in planning alumni events
Participate in fundraising
Participate in special functions
Collaborate with director of athletic fundraising
Plan community service efforts
Execute community service efforts
Coordinate team travel
Provide support for contest management
Perform other duties as assigned
