What You'll Do.
Assist Department Manager
Present freshest products
Ensure positive company image
Provide prompt customer service
Greet customers in a friendly manner
Learn customers’ names
Assist customers with product location
Secure products out of reach
Load or unload heavy items
Take note of customer suggestions
Answer telephone promptly
Work with co-workers as a team
Check orders for the day
Set up timeline and production schedule
Review daily production list
Assign tasks for completion
Ensure food display case product is rotated
Replenish food display case
Scan Market Grille area for issues
Assign tasks to staff
Ensure proper amount of staff
Check hours and duties for 14 and 15
Monitor department overtime
Control inventory through constant monitoring
Ensure supply area is clean
Rotate all perishable product
Handle catering contracts
Follow all food safety guidelines
Ensure department employees comply
Handle and satisfy customer issues
Suggest ad items for department
Review and order signage
Suggest in-store specials
Assist in monthly inventory
Calculate intra and inter store
Understand and practice proper sanitation
Ensure work area is clean
Maintain strict adherence to guidelines
Adhere to company policies
Work closely with Restaurant and Service staff
Report to work when scheduled
Assume management duties in absence of Department Manager
Write schedules for the department
Calculate clerk production amounts
Put items/products together for catering
Instruct to complete catering orders
Calculate portion needed for catering
Train employees in department duties
