Full Job Description
**[What the role is]** As a strategic partner to departments across EMA, you will play a central role in guiding and strengthening procurement practices organisation wide. You will champion the end-to-end procurement process, from initial requirement approval through to contract management, ensuring that transactions are conducted with rigour, compliance, and sound judgement. **[What you will be working on]** Responsibilities: * Serve as a trusted advisor to line departments, advising business units on the most appropriate procurement approaches to meet their needs and providing clear and practical guidance on procurement rules, policies and processes to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes. * Develop, review and continuously improve procurement policies, procedures and systems to strengthen governance and drive operational efficiency. * Review procurement submissions to ensure compliance with prevailing procurement rules, policies and processes. * Analyse procurement data to surface trends and generate insights that support evidence-based decision making. **[What we are looking for]** Requirements: * A tertiary qualification in any discipline. * At least three years of relevant experience in procurement. * Working knowledge of the Government Instruction Manual on Procurement and GeBIZ is essential. * Proficiency in data analysis would be a distinct advantage. * Strong attention to details with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. * Ability to articulate the objectives behind procurement rules, policies and processes to facilitate users' understanding and obtain stakeholders' buy-in. * Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to formulate well-reasoned recommendations independently. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and writing skills The position will be commensurate with candidate's experience.
