What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Masters in Pharma/Life Sciences/Medicine/ Biomedical engineering/ Allied fields, with relevant post-qualification experience in the patent, scientific, and/or business research space, M. Pharm/MSc/MBBSDS, 4 years of post-qualification experience in patent research for Consumer Healthcare or pharmaceutical business research/KPO, Expertise in secondary research with experience in using databases and open sources, Clear understanding and exposure to OTC/Consumer/Pharma Healthcare space, demonstrate clear acumen in competitive intelligence, scientific and business research, Proven strengths/clear aptitude in performing patent analysis and deriving competitor insights, Demonstrated familiarity and strengths in performing information searches/addressing queries in Patent Databases such as Thomson Innovation, Questel (Orbit), Innography, STN database (CAPLUS, DERWENT), Micropatent, PatBase, Knowledge on MS Office (esp. PowerPoint and basic Excel) and Internet searching skills are mandatory, Ownership / accountability, Flexibility to work on cross-team projects across all domains
Nice to Have
Awareness of market landscape, current developments, leading players, clinical research and products, Should understand the regulatory climate relevant to OTC/Rx space esp. in US/Europe, Knowledge of data visualization tools incl. charts and graphs, smart arts etc, Exposure to scouting projects or experience in identifying key partners/collaborators for product development
