You will work closely with regional tax, finance, legal, and business teams. We value candidates who are analytical, collaborative, and proactive. This role offers growth, meaningful impact, and the chance to help GSK unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. **Job Purpose** **Areas of taxes and legal entities** * Group level Indirect tax responsibility. Indirect taxes consist of Goods & Services Tax (GST) and legacy Value Added Tax, Central Sales Tax, Service Tax, Excise, and local area cesses, spread across 25 states. * Monitoring of records for taxation and payments on all India basis for the group. Representation before authorities for Assessments, Audits, hearing etc. Interaction with external parties. **Business advisory** * Partnering with businesses and pro-actively support in their initiatives including advising on tax implications so as to ensure an optimized and tax efficient solution in timely manner. * Provide regular updates to businesses on tax matters and on the potential impact of new/changes in laws and regulations on the compliance and businesses of GSK.
