What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8 years of progressive experience in real estate or hedge fund accounting, Reviewing experience of NAVs, financial statements, reconciliations, investor reporting, and other complex fund, Mandatory hands-on experience with Yardi or Paxus, at both preparer and reviewer level, Proficiency in fund accounting and financial reporting systems, Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, Practical knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and compliance requirements, Demonstrated experience in real estate or hedge fund structures, Complex entity hierarchies, Multi-currency transactions, Partnership accounting, Investor allocations and reporting, Proven ability to perform detailed technical reviews, Resolve complex accounting issues, Research and interpret accounting standards, Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, Deliver clear, well-supported recommendations with a high level of accuracy and professional judgment, Fluent in written and spoken English, Proactive and detail-oriented, Capable of mentoring Accountants and Junior Accountants, Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and clients, Adapting quickly to evolving business and regulatory requirements

What You'll Do.

Facilitate and support the onboarding of new private equity funds and the conversion of funds from other accounting platforms to Investran or Paxus
and improving accounting and reporting processes for complex clients

SSAE and other regulatory requirements

Identifying root causes and risks
Ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions

ABOUT THE ROLE: The Assistant Manager is accountable for delivering timely, accurate, and high‑quality fund accounting and reporting services to assigned private equity fund clients and cluster stakeholders. The role has end‑to‑end ownership of client deliverables, with a strong focus on review, quality control, and performance management. The Assistant Manager leads and develops the team, drives results against defined KPIs, and supports the review and preparation of NAVs, financial statements, capital activities, and complex client deliverables. The position also plays a key role in onboarding new funds, system conversions to Investran or Paxus, stakeholder communication, risk and compliance oversight, and continuous process improvement, in line with IQ‑EQ India Global Client Delivery policies and procedures.
