What You'll Do.
Coordinate branch operational activities
Ensure efficient service delivery
Ensure effective cash management
Ensure excellent customer service
Supervise frontline operations staff
Assist Head of Operations
Ensure adherence to service standards
Ensure adherence to SLAs
Provide customized service to Priority customers
Assist in customer migration to alternate channels
Ensure optimization of alternate channels
Ensure functionality of alternate channels
Liaise with respective units for limited downtime
Ensure resource prioritization at branch
Perform sales of Personal and Business Banking products
Monitor transaction activity
Maintain accurate customer data
Maintain zero tolerance for inactive accounts
Maintain zero tolerance for dormant accounts
Maintain zero tolerance for account closure
Seek customer feedback
Identify service improvement areas
Identify service improvement opportunities
Ensure documentation completeness
Ensure documentation accuracy
Ensure validity of all transaction instruments
Verify daily balance on CBN Statement
Authorize transactions
Monitor till balances
Provide funds as appropriate
Manage cash-in-till exposure
Manage daily cash levels in bulk room
Manage daily cash levels in vault
Ensure branch cash requirements are met
Monitor inter-branch cash movements
Monitor inter-branch cash requirements
Ensure adherence to cash movement control procedures
Manage branch ATM uptime
Ensure branch cash limit is not exceeded
Ensure prompt transfer of excess cash
Ensure same day resolution of service issues
Escalate service issues as required
Perform end-of-day balancing
Perform end-of-day reconciliation
Supervise teller activities
Provide on-the-job training to tellers
Ensure prompt reconciliation of GLs
Ensure resolution of GL exceptions
Ensure branch returns are rendered timely
Assist in preparation of management reports
Ensure compliance with internal policies
Ensure compliance with internal procedures
Ensure compliance with all regulations
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Act as stand-by in absence of Branch Manager
Perform other duties as assigned
