Full Job Description

## Description Our employee-owned and integrated team of multi-disciplined engineering and design professionals is looking for an experienced water resources engineer with progressive technical knowledge and engaging mentorship skills to join our team in a new role as the Assistant Water Resources Group Manager in Saint Paul.    As the Assistant Group Manager, you will assist with leading a talented team of engineers, hydrologists, scientists, designers, and technicians to design, model, and development storm water drainage and management systems for DOT, county, and city projects throughout the State of Minnesota, Class I railroad projects nationwide, and other private client projects nationwide. You will provide technical coaching and mentorship and be responsible for conducting performance reviews and outlining professional growth and development objectives in relation to your direct reports’ professional aspirations and business goals. You will also be responsible for monitoring and assisting with workload distribution and resource allocation in accordance with availability, technical competencies / expertise, and professional development opportunities.   In addition, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technical specifications as well as communicating requirements to team members and making revisions or enhancements as necessary to ensure consistency and accuracy with design standards and deliverables. Furthermore, you will conduct QA/QC reviews on work performed by your direct reports and assist the Water Resources Group Manager with reviews of work performed by other lead and senior team members.   You will serve as a lead engineer on various project assignments and even assume the role of project manager for significant / complex projects or projects of strategic importance. You will be required to facilitate proposal development efforts, represent TKDA at project interviews, and engage with current and prospective client representatives
