What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment, Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings and weekends
Nice to Have
Experience with consultation-based customer service models, Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback, Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management, Experience in cross cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training, Fluency in Spanish, French or other languages
What You'll Do.
Support the management team in all business areas
Provide a unique and inclusive customer experience
Educate customers and staff about brand values
Improve product knowledge and make informed recommendations
Demonstrate business acumen and understand sales indicators
Support the team on the sales floor
Be responsible for own development
and succession plan for the shop
Collaborate with the manager on plans to increase staff engagement
Ensure the shop is compliant with company standards
Ensure staff adhere to company standards for opening and closing
and daily communication
Support the training of the inventory team to abide by fresh standards and rotation rules
Manage ordering to ensure the right products are in the store at the right times within budget
Support the development of the team to take pride in a clean and beautiful work environment
Follow merchandising and design standards
Ensure the right number of staff with the right skill levels are scheduled at peak times
Ensure breaks and meals are allocated and recorded appropriately
