What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Accredited professional accounting qualification (e. g. , CPA, ACCA, or equivalent), Minimum 5 years of progressive managerial experience in finance or accounting, technical accounting, finance, and taxation knowledge with comprehensive understanding of internal control frameworks, Proficiency in budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis, Proven team management and leadership capabilities with ability to mentor staff, Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels, Advanced proficiency with financial systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite, analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail, Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Botswana's regulatory environment and local tax compliance requirements, Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems implementation, Background in hospitality, retail, or similar service-oriented industry financial operations
