What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree required, Four (4) years of relevant professional experience counseling individuals and families regarding personal finances and/or financial aid
Nice to Have
Experience with Workday Platform Technology software
What You'll Do.
Counseling students and families regarding all aspects of paying for college
Overseeing and processing all student account related functions
Providing processing support for specialized student account functions
Managing collection efforts for inactive students
including the placing of accounts with external collection agencies
Coordinating the placement of delinquent tuition accounts with external collection agencies and monitoring the effectiveness of the external collections program
Overseeing all administrative aspects of the Perkins Loan Program and ensuring compliance with program regulations
Overseeing payment plans put in place for inactive students
managing communication efforts related to the plans
and turning inactive payment plan balance over to collections on a regular basis
Overseeing outreach and communication efforts prior to the start of each term’s registration period
Providing back-up to daily cash batch reconciliation
Providing back-up for the Director of Student Accounts in generating monthly statements
reconciling online payment plans
and applying manual account adjustments
Ensuring compliance with federal
state and institutional regulation and policy
including PCI data security standards
Presenting information regarding all aspects of student accounts to small and large groups
Providing training on student accounts for the Student Financial Services team and other on-campus constituents
Participating in local
and national professional development opportunities
Fostering collaborative strategic relationships with on and off-campus constituents
