Must Have

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, Six years of related experience

Nice to Have

Advanced degree in higher education, student affairs or related field from an accredited institution, Six years of progressively responsible administrative or management experience in student affairs in higher education, Significant student group advising, leadership training, risk management, and supervisory experience in the specific area(s) described in this position description

What You'll Do.

strategic and programmatic oversight

managing the operations of the Campus Engagement & Traditions (CET) area

Advises high profile student leaders and organizations

support CET programs and events

strategic planning for the area

developing and adhering to the area budget

ultimate responsibility for the programs and groups served by the area

university wide consulting on behalf of the department

contributing to department marketing and development as needed

assisting the Leadership Team with department-wide initiatives and planning

direct and indirect supervision of up to four full-time employees

graduate and practicum students

Advises select SGA Commissions and/or Committees

Serves as an advisor to select SGA branches (Executive

and Judicial) and senior student leaders
