Full Job Description
As Assistant Director, AI and Learning Analytics, you will drive the development and implementation of a university-wide competency framework and measurement approach. Leading a team, you will partner with Schools to define, refine, and assess both transferable and technical competencies, supported by data, analytics, and AI. This role contributes to: 1\. Enabling students to better navigate an evolving employment landscape through clear articulation of competencies Supporting Schools in curriculum planning to meet learning and employability outcomes 2\. Sitting at the intersection of pedagogy, analytics, and AI, this role ensures NTU remains future-ready in delivering high-quality, relevant education. **Responsibilities:** This strategic role is responsible for: * Developing and institutionalising a university-wide competency and measurement framework * Driving alignment and adoption across Schools through stakeholder engagement and governance * Leading the design and delivery of analytics, dashboards, and AI-enabled insights to support teaching and learning * Ensuring robust data governance, quality, and compliance across education data platforms * Translating complex analytics into actionable insights for academic and institutional decision-making * Leading and developing a team to deliver data and AI initiatives aligned with University priorities **Requirements:** _Knowledge & Qualification_ * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, Education, or a related field * At least 7 years of experience in data, analytics, or AI-related roles _Technical Experience & Skills_ * Strong expertise in data science, machine learning, and AI applications * Experience in building and managing data and analytics pipelines * Good understanding of pedagogy and its application in higher education _Governance & Compliance_ * Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g. PDPA, e
