2 or more direct reports, 5+ years accounting experience, 2+ years supervisory responsibility, Accounting degree, Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, Advanced knowledge of financial accounting software, Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Experience leading others, Ability to meet deadlines
Nice to Have
CPA designation preferred, Knowledge of real estate accounting, Ability to mentor others, Ability to see the big picture

Supervise junior accounting team
Ensure accounts payable timeliness
Ensure intercompany transactions accuracy
Prepare bank journal entries
Prepare investment journal entries
Prepare month-end accruals
Prepare payroll journal entries
Lead expense allocation review
Prepare preliminary variance reports
Prepare monthly working papers
Prepare year-end working papers
Assist with long-term care reporting
Prepare monthly Visa reconciliations
Process reoccurring cheque requisitions
Coordinate month-end duties
Ensure month-end close timelines
Assist Controller with projects
Perform role related add-hoc duties
