Support Comptroller and CFO in financial planning
Oversee and perform complex accounting and financial transactions
Process and analyze transactions
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
and integrity of accounting records
and analyze financial reports and statements
Collect financial information to develop recommendations
Compile and analyze financial data for ad hoc
and reconcile general ledger accounts and
Investigate and resolve variances and/or discrepancies
Perform internal audits across multiple functions
Provide documentation and accounting support for external audits
Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting practices
Assist with implementation of improvements
Manage and supervise AP and expense reporting functions
Oversee invoice processing
account reconciliations
Review transactions for accuracy
proper accounting coding
Provide training and ongoing support for AP
Identify common errors or process efficiencies to implement
Lead P-Card and Travel Reimbursement programs
Ensure accurate and timely processing of P-Card and
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies

The Assistant Comptroller, Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting, supports the Comptroller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in managing financial planning, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This position oversees complex accounting functions across multiple funds, including accounts payable (AP), expense reporting, and audit activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
