What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field, 1-3 years relevant experience in residence life and/or property management, Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections, Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs, Valid driver's license

Nice to Have

Experience with Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, etc.

What You'll Do.

Support and assist Community Manager

Oversee financial facets of community

Oversee operational facets of community

Complete accounting tasks

Complete bookkeeping tasks

Prepare monthly close-out reports

Prepare financial reports

Process invoices for payment

Complete bank deposits

Complete dispositions

Complete account reconciliations

Record financial workings of community

Track financial workings of community

Report on financial workings of community

Enter required fields correctly in property management software

Complete updates to property management software

Complete back-ups to property management software

Review resident files for unpaid fees

Review resident files for late fees

Communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances

Implement procedures for collecting delinquencies

Enforce lease to maximize revenue

Review vendor invoices for payment

Reconcile work performed by vendors

Reconcile products purchased from vendors

Obtain community manager approval for invoices

Code charges to appropriate Chart of Account codes

Manage communication between vendor and accounting

Follow established procedures related to evictions

Follow proper notice requirements for evictions

Represent community in court hearings

Represent community in eviction proceedings

Process resident move-outs

Review lease terms for move-outs

Review notice requirements for move-outs

Apply appropriate deposit fees

Apply appropriate lease cancellation fees

Process disposition in accordance with procedures

Process disposition in accordance with legal requirements

Respond to complaints in a timely manner

Respond to questions in a timely manner

Respond to requests in a timely manner

Resolve service issues

Address service issues

Organize daily work in absence of Community Manager

Delegate daily work in absence of Community Manager

Coordinate maintenance tasks with maintenance supervisor

Coordinate make-ready tasks with maintenance supervisor

Manage community operation in compliance with Company policies

Conduct community tours
