This role helps ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all facility systems while supporting sustainability initiatives, operational excellence, and high-quality service delivery across a multi-building site. **Your day-to-day tasks will include:** * Assisting the Chief Engineer with daily operations of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems * Supervising and coordinating maintenance staff and contractors across first and second shifts * Monitoring and maintaining building automation and control systems to optimize energy efficiency and performance * Conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and resolve potential issues * Responding to emergency situations and providing technical expertise to address building-related problems * Supporting sustainability initiatives and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations * Managing administrative responsibilities, including billing, documentation, and work order tracking * Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and compliance requirements * Collaborating with property management, vendors, and internal stakeholders
