As an Assistant Chief Engineer on Swing Shift (M-F, 2:00PM-10:30PM), your role is to oversee and lead a team of engineers responsible for planning, maintaining, repairing facilities equipment and services and implementing technical solutions to support the smooth running of the facility. This is an International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), Stationary Engineers, Local 39, position. **What your day-to-day looks like:** * **Equipment Operations & Maintenance** \- Monitor and maintain all mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, pumps, and piping; perform preventive maintenance tasks and oversee repair schedules while reviewing operational logs to ensure proper equipment function * **Inventory & Procurement Management** \- Ensure adequate inventory of tools and supplies through purchase order preparation, vendor sourcing, and regular inventory assessments to maintain building operations * **Contractor Oversight** \- Supervise and coordinate all contractor activities within the building, whether representing the building management or tenant operations, ensuring work quality and compliance * **Procedure Development & Documentation** \- Develop, review, and continuously improve Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) while maintaining all infrastructure documentation, building drawings, and regulatory compliance records * **Safety & Regulatory C
