If you're passionate about making a difference, apply today to join us in serving the community! **Job Description:** **JOB SUMMARY** * Employees supervise the provision of support coordination services to people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism to assist them in attaining a more inclusive social, economic, emotional and physical life while maintaining health and safety. * Work involves responsibility for supervising and training a small group of professional county social service workers, but the worker may also carry a caseload. * Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures, but employees are expected to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment in achieving objectives. * Work is reviewed by a professional or administrative supervisor through conferences, reports and results attained. * This position may require work beyond the 37.5 hours of work per week, depending on the demands of the work. **REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS** * Assistant Chief Caseworker oversees 6 support coordinators in the work unit. * The supervisor is expected to meet with each support coordinator at least twice monthly, and more frequently with new staff and as needed. * This position reports to the Director of BHDS Case Management. * The supervisor will meet with the manager at least twice monthly and more frequently as needed. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** * Coordinates and reviews case records, documents and information prepared by staff to ensure that they are in compliance wi
