Temporary/seasonal role, Consistent availability to work Monday - Friday during the Summer camp season, On-site, Shift time will vary between 7:00 am - 6:30 pm, local time, Full-Time: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, Part-Time: Up to 30 hours/week, Monday–Friday, Employment start and end dates vary by location, Tuberculosis (TB) screening, Background check, Mandated reporter training (California only), Some lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs., Typing, writing, reading, Seeing, hearing and speaking, both nearby and at a distance, Use hand and fingers to help with classroom supplies and operate equipment, Frequent standing sitting, walking and kneeling
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Must be 18 years of age by May 1, 2026, Availability for full-time camp work (4–8 consecutive weeks, depending on location), Willingness to complete pre-camp requirements (background checks, onboarding, training, CPR/First Aid)
Nice to Have
6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Oversee daily camp operations
and inclusive experience for all campers
Independently lead and supervise the Extended Care program
Collaborate with the Camp Director on daily operations
Provide operational leadership during busy periods
Staff support and team management
and supervise the Extended Care program
and engaging environment
Maintain staffing ratios
Manage camp rotations and cover duties as needed
Lead camper groups or facilitate curriculum
Participate in camp activities
Lead and coach the camp team
Manage Summer Interns
Supervise and assign daily tasks to staff
Coordinate coverage during staff breaks
Oversee responsibilities during Extended Care
Ensure essential administrative tasks related to family registration and communication with families are completed
Prioritize daily tasks effectively and maintain camper safety
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely and collaborate with the Camp Director; Collaborate with the Camp Director on daily operations; Partner with the Camp Director to lead and coach the camp team; Coordinate coverage during staff breaks
