Nice to Have
Experience as an Assistant Buyer or in a similar retail role a plus, Knowledge of product development, planning, and both domestic and overseas manufacturing, familiarity with BI Reporting tools, Negotiation skills and vendor relationship management a plus
What You'll Do.
Assist Buyer with reports and analysis
Suggest newness and category extensions
Help with sample management
Accurate and timely set up of new items
and place purchase orders
Contribute to product development
Monitor market trends
Support Buyer in negotiating terms
Use BI Reporting to analyze sales data
Coordinate and facilitate MOS
Maintain open communication with vendors

Team & Collaboration
Collaborating closely with the department’s buying team; Collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, merchandising operations, planning); Partner to resolve any issues with vendors, DC teams, or other stakeholders; Maintain open communication with vendors and cross-functional teams
