What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, At least 6 years of experience in customer service/supervisory role within a banking/retail environment, Minimum 3 years of operations experience, preferably in banking, Excellent customer service/sales skills, Excellent working knowledge of branch operations and banking regulations, Effective problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to maintain composure when interacting with customers and staff, leadership and interpersonal skills, Excellent communication skills (verbal + written), Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience using banking software, Proven ability to stay current and comply with industry regulations, Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, Qualify to be licensed as a Notary Public for New York State
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree, Demonstrated comfort level with technology, mobile services and online banking services
What You'll Do.
Support Branch Manager in branch operations
Handle operational issues and branch-related matters
Provide coaching to staff on sales techniques
Supervise staff on service expectations
Identify and mitigate operational risk
Oversee compliance functions
Cross-train on all branch positions
Ensure satisfactory audit grade
Troubleshoot problems and client service needs
Serve as liaison between branch and departments
Meet assigned sales goals
Assist Branch Manager with sales programs
Execute sales opportunities with customers
Assist in staffing decisions
Reconcile branch general ledger accounts
Conduct staff meetings
Approve customer and bank transactions
Notarize legal documents
How You'll Work.

Serve as liaison between the branch and various departments; Ensure full transparency regarding internal policies and procedures
