Utilize mechanical measuring equipment
Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies
Work from assembly instructions
Perform test operations on actuators
Diagnose test failures
Recommend rework to correct discrepancies
Hold problem units for engineering disposition
Ensure units are tested in conformance
Test repair models for conformance
Utilize measuring equipment to validate acceptance
Order parts as necessary
Document parts replaced
Document work performed

You will report to the Assembly and Test Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in **Torrance, CA.** Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is a global leader in designing primary and secondary flight control actuation systems (FCAS) for military aircraft. We design and integrate FCAS systems for cutting edge aircraft like the F-35 Lightning II and the V280 Valor next generation tiltrotor Aircraft. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division * Minimum 3 years or more of Assembly experience (mechanical, hydraulic, electromechanical or electronic) * FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification is a plus * FAA Safety Sensitive position; must meet FAA's drug and alcohol testing program requirements * Ability to read blueprints * Assembly experience in the Aerospace industry * Experience performing precision assembly and test of hydraulic, mechanical and electromechanical
