Full Job Description
Our high-tech packaging machines and lines are purchased by customers worldwide, from Europe to Africa and from Asia to South America. In Weert we manufacture and test the vertical form-fill-seal machines, which are then commissioned at our customers’ production sites. As an Assembly Technician, you will among other things perform the following tasks: * Assemble packaging machines according to schedules, drawings and guidelines, and install and connect peripheral equipment; * Adjust, inspect and test the machines and peripheral equipment electrically and/or mechanically; * Diagnose and resolve faults at customer sites when necessary, and assist with machine commissioning (up to a maximum of 10% of working time); * Work daily with your colleagues in a modern assembly environment; * Take technical responsibility for your own work and contribute to finding the best solutions. ## Qualifications In addition to being accurate, proactive and flexible, it is also important for an Assembly Technician that you: * Have completed a technical vocational qualification (MBO) or possess equivalent knowledge and experience. * Are skilled at reading mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams and electrical schematics. Experience as a mechanical assembler/technician is a plus! * Can work independently, function well in a team and have a practical, hands-on approach. * Have a good command of Dutch and a reasonable proficiency in English. ## Additional Information But fair’s fair, we ask a lot of you, so you can expect an attractive compensation package in return.
