Lift up to 50 pounds, Physical exertion may vary depending on position type, May be required to regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, frequently stand or walk around the work area, Manufacturing facilities can be loud and have bright lights, Availability to travel, as needed, between MCG manufacturing facilities, Some travel will require overnight stays

Must Have

High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience, At least 1 year of experience/familiarity with working in the electrical, mechanical, or assembly industry is required, Work well in a team environment, Proper utilization of all common electrical hand tools, Self-motivated and detail—oriented individual, Attention to detail, Neat and tidy in work done, Responsible for personal and area safety as well as general housekeeping, Lift up to 50 pounds, Basic computer literacy, Satisfactory completion of additional background screening (if applicable), Valid driver’s license, Safety glasses and equipment for daily use, Hand protection, either cut resistant gloves or Leather work gloves as appropriate, Hearing protection when required, Steel or Composite toe boots or shoes for daily use, Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential for this job, Comfortable with occasional repetitive motions, Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor, Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities

Under the direct supervision of the Shop Manager, the Assembly Technician performs wiring, assembly, and installation work on assigned switchgear at a basic level. The Assembly Technician will follow specific schedules and procedures including safety protocol, installation processes, and other instructions.
