Must Have
Previous experience with manual assembly work of electronic devices, experience assembling miniature devices under microscopes, Intermediate level computer skills, knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Ability to understand and perform moderately complex technical phases of work, Ability to read, write, and interpret technical materials, Ability to communicate with general engineering staff, verbally and written, Ability to use hand tools and assembly equipment

What You'll Do.

Reads and interprets moderately complex notes
and maintains equipment required to build
and troubleshoot electronic subassemblies and assemblies
Contacts personnel in related activities to resolve problems and coordinate assigned work
Adheres to internal and external process standards and quality systems
and corrects malfunctions and failures
Troubleshoots and corrects failures requiring moderate levels of skill for solution
Assists in design and process modifications by compiling data related to manufacturing
Works closely with engineering staff to develop
and demonstrate recommends modifications to specifications and provides design feedback by compiling
and presenting data obtained during manufacturing
Develops information concerning previous failures and modifications
Identifies inconsistencies or gaps in data and seeks sources to clarify information
including devising experiments to determine a solution
Assists and trains co-workers in assembly skills and equipment use as required
Communicates progress utilizing intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Excel

Explore more on Cubic.com. # **Job Details:** **Job Summary:** Cubic | Nuvotronics’ Assembly Department is responsible for the electro-mechanical assembly of our PolyStrata® products, using both automated equipment and skilled manual processes. As a Technician III within this team, you will be responsible for supporting prototype and production builds. You will need to exercise judgement on builds and make recommendations to the engineering staff. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Previous experience with manual assembly work of electronic devices is required, particularly experience assembling miniature devices under microscopes. This role is for second shift. Expected hours are from 3:00PM to 12:30AM. Role will be expected to work first shift (8:00AM to 5:30PM) until training is complete (2-3 months).
