About MBRDI: Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Our mission is to drive innovation and excellence in automotive engineering, digitalization, and sustainable mobility solutions, shaping the future of mobility. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and define vehicle assembly processes ensuring alignment with product and manufacturing requirements. • Apply product and process knowledge to optimize automobile assembly operations. • Understand and analyze vehicle assembly sequences and line operations for efficiency. • Perform ergonomic assessments to ensure operator safety and comfort. • Collaborate with global counterparts to incorporate technical inputs and design feedback. Required Skills and Experience: • 6-9 years of experience in Automotive OEM or Engineering Service Industry. • Strong knowledge of assembly process planning, vehicle assembly sequence, and general vehicle assembly line operations. • Experience with MTM or MOST Time Study • Familiarity with nut runners, assembly tools, and basic ergonomics analysis. • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects effectively. • Background in automotive engineering with strong project management capabilities. Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or Production Engineering. Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have): • Exposure to global automotive assembly projects or OEM collaboration. • Experience with Daimler systems, tools, and standards. • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
