What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent), Proven experience in Assembly manufacturing processes, Previous experience working directly with suppliers or in a supplier quality / industrialization / manufacturing engineering role, Capability to lead projects autonomously and coordinate cross-functional teams, Knowledge of industrial methods and tools (SAP, Demat, SNT, or similar), Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
Experience with industrial transfer or offset projects, Familiarity with metallic and composite manufacturing technologies, MRB delegation or exposure to non-conformance management processes, Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
What You'll Do.
Lead industrialization of new assemblies/subassemblies and modifications
ensuring compliance with quality
and schedule (OTOCOQ)
Act as the technical and industrial focal point for supplier manufacturing topics
Ensure configuration management and technical consistency of subcontracted components
Assess supplier industrial capabilities
and provide input for tendering process and make-buy decisions
Support continuous improvement initiatives at suppliers
Coordinate and support MRB (Material Review Board) activities
Ensure knowledge capitalization and lessons learned for assembly technologies
Promote ethical and compliant practices in all supplier interactions
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Crossfunctional coordination between Airbus and supplier industrial teams; Interface between internal Airbus functions (Procurement, Design, Quality, ME) and the supplier; Coordinate cross-functional teams
Communication Scope
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
