Assembler Team Lead **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is currently seeking an **Assembler Team Lead** to join the **Final Assembly POS 1 Team** located in **North Charleston, South Carolina** on **2nd shift**. Performs advanced, specialized or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies and subassemblies using automated assembly operations. May provide assembly operation guidance to other assemblers. **Position Responsibilities:** * Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools. * Build effective resource plans. * Identifies and communicates risks to First Line Leader. * Updates and communicates BPS metrics. * Identifies KPI improvement actions. * Assigns daily work. * Leads team in daily safety check-in. * Monitors and reports daily progress to plan. * Works with support organizations and First Line Leader to mitigate performance risk. * Documents and communications shift turnover. * Establishes overtime requirements and staffing. * Responsible for monitoring and control of 5S. * Utilizes Rapid Problem Solving (RPS) and coordinates with Line Side Control Center (LSCC) to address issues. * Create standardized work instructions. * Support teammates to improve their job performance, including identifying training. * Responsible for BPS process improvements. * Leads Kamishibai audits and Gemba walks. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * 2+ years’ experience with the operations process involving the 787 airplane manufacturing program * 2+ years’ experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing * 2+ years of experience in a team environment * Must be able to obtain and maintain Confined Space Certification * 2+ years of experience in a formal/informal leadership role in a team environment. **Preferred Qualifications (Desire
