What You'll Do.
Perform electronic and electro-mechanical subassembly
Perform assembly operations
Build up and assemble simple units
Determine methods and sequence of assembly
Follow assembly shop and production operation sheets

Utilize small hand tools
Identify and select components
Integrate components into subassembly and assembly units
Maintain tolerance in accordance with instructions
Test units as required
Interpret and work from electromechanical schematics
Understand required parts and steps
Read worksheets and wiring diagrams
Select components such as transistors
Mount assembled components on chassis panel
Connect component lead wires to printed circuit
Route and connect wires between components
Position and align parts in specified relationship
Use hand and small power tools
Place small components in boards
Perform other assembly tasks
Adjust or trim materials from components
Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components
Install and/or remove discrete components
Perform work under microscope
Perform online go-not-go testing and inspection
Ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications
Troubleshoot and replace defects of finished products
Rework and repair defective units
Follow safety procedures
Handle flammable and hazardous chemicals
Meet all cleanliness specifications
Follow specific procedures and detailed instructions

We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. **Job Description** **Summary** Under limited supervision, performs a wide variety of moderately difficult electronic and electro-mechanical subassembly and assembly operations of a skilled nature to build up and assemble simple units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, PC boards, electronic systems and subassemblies. Determines methods and sequence of assembly operations where complete information is not readily available or follows assembly shop and production operation sheets, wire lists, samples, drawings, schematic and verbal instructions to perform a wide variety of assembly operations such as wiring, component installation and hand soldering, utilizing small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers. Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units. Makes own set-ups, alignments and adjustments maintaining tolerance in accordance with instructions. Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles, and tests units as required, and all other duties as assigned. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following.
