## **Job Description** **Title: Assembler 1** _Pioneer the next generation of innovation. Join us and you’ll develop your skills and expertise to the very highest levels, working in an international environment for a company known the world over for its brilliance._ **Position Summary:** This position assembles generator sets and sub-assemblies that include both standard and non-standard product lines. This will require using hand and power tools and following quality and procedural techniques. **Key Accountabilities:** * Use work instructions, drawings, schematics and equipment used to perform basic assembly duties in a limited number of work areas (i.e. Final Assembly and Sub-Assembly). * Cross train in multiple assembly areas and help in other areas based on necessity. * Develop and maintain an understanding of the products assembled and continuous learning of the principles, practices and processes of their job as changes require. * Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality. * Responsible for following safety and environmental procedures and established processes and policies. * Provide input on continuous improvement opportunities within the department * Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct. * Perform special projects as required **Basic Requirements:** * Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship.
