What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal, Experience with privacy laws, frameworks, best practices, and controls such as GDPR, CCPA, BIPA, and HIPAA, Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business leaders to develop comprehensive, business-oriented solutions to problems and tailoring subject matter input to achieve business objectives, Experience negotiating terms and conditions for use of AI technologies, Knowledge Artificial Intelligence, large language models (LLMs), generative AI, emerging AI risk management frameworks, ethical principles, and emerging U. S. , state, and international regulatory regimes, Ability to engage with technical experts and communicate legal obligations to a technical audience, J.D. degree, Active bar admission with any U. S. state bar

Experience with Federal government contracts, Experience advising on processes and procedures related to artificial intelligence governance, Experience working with technical staff, such as engineers, network architects, technical teams, and developers, Knowledge of AI risk management practices, such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, CIPP or AIGP Certification
