What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, 0 to 5 years of professional experience in architecture, Professional architectural licensure, Proficient in Revit, knowledge of Bluebeam, core proficiency in standard architectural software, Comprehensive understanding of conventional architecture, including knowledge of materials, methods, and tools for constructing or renovating small to moderately complex buildings, Working knowledge of design techniques, tools, and sustainable design principles for producing precise technical plans, drawings, reports, and models, written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, Ability to multi-task while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity, Capability to assist in marketing and business development efforts
Nice to Have
Graduate degree not required unless mandated by local licensure regulations, LEED AP and other certifications preferred but not required, Knowledge of Bluebeam, Knowledge of sustainable design principles
What You'll Do.
Conduct analyses of design

Coordinate drawings and specifications
Apply DLR Group practice standards to project assignments
Develop comprehensive design and technical skillsets for material and construction techniques
Participate in innovative idea generation within the team
Understand and apply BIM standards to projects
Develop organized work sets according to DLR Group standards
Execute QA/QC procedures
Resolve clash detection issues
Review and address comments from third-party QA/QC reviews
Generate design ideas and solutions
Seek new knowledge and skills
Deliver project work on schedule
Understand project work plans and target deadlines for each task
Assist in creating and delivering project documents
Collaborate with the integrated design team to ensure high-quality results
Adhere to project schedules
Follow work plans to support the successful completion of projects
Partner directly with the Project Manager to ensure the financial health of the project

DLR Group's Denver, CO office has an opening for an Architect - Industrial/ Workplace. We operate within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home. Position Summary As an Architect at DLR Group, you will play a key role in various aspects of project development, working within established parameters. You will assist in creating and delivering project documents and collaborate with the integrated design team to ensure high-quality results. Your responsibilities will include adhering to project schedules, managing budgets, and following work plans to support the successful completion of projects. As part of our integrated design team, you create buildings that elevate the human experience through design. You will partner directly with the Project Manager to ensure the financial health of the project, the quality of project documents, claim prevention, team collaboration and communication. Additionally, you will lead the cross-functional design disciplines in developing technical solutions.
